Jour 1: Montréal – Arrival
Arrival. Pick up your vehicle at the airport.
Montreal is the second largest French-speaking city after Paris: a city of contrasts with its historic Old Port and modern downtown. Explore the historic district of Old Montreal, named Ville Marie by the first settlers, the most charming part of the city. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous Place Jacques Cartier and the magnificent City Hall.
Continue to the city center and don't miss the Place Ville Marie observatory with its unique view of the city, 185 meters above the ground, and another unique feature of the city: an underground network of cafés, restaurants, and shops.
Jour 2: Montréal
Two other neighborhoods are particularly recommended: the Latin Quarter and Mont Royal, with its Saint Joseph's Oratory Basilica and park, a magnificent 200-hectare urban green space.
If you have time, we recommend visiting Olympic Park, where you can enjoy a tour of the botanical garden, the Biodôme, the Olympic Stadium, or the Insectarium.
Jour 3: Nature Stay
Experience the true essence of Quebec nature by staying at a traditional outfitter. Nestled in the heart of nature, these accommodations offer a peaceful retreat surrounded by forests, lakes, and wildlife. Enjoy outdoor activities such as canoeing, fishing, and hiking in the summer, or snowshoeing, dog sledding, and other winter activities during the snowy season. In the evening, gather around a campfire and enjoy hearty, traditional Quebec meals. It's a unique opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in the tranquil rhythm of nature, far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Jour 4: Nature Stay
On the second day of your nature getaway, book a seasonal activity or enjoy the aquatic center.
Jour 5: Nature Stay
On the third and final day of your nature getaway, take the opportunity to hike in the forest or around the lake!
Jour 6: Québec
Quebec City is the capital of the province of Quebec and the oldest city in Canada. Behind its high stone walls, admire the star-shaped citadel and impressive fortifications. Stop by the Parliament Building before exploring the Old Port, Place Royale, and Petit-Champlain. Lunch or dinner at a traditional sugar shack is highly recommended. There, you will discover the traditional art of maple syrup production before enjoying a memorable meal!
Jour 7: Québec
Don't miss a visit to the impressive Montmorency Falls, a natural wonder that is higher than Niagara Falls. If you're not afraid of heights, you can even cross them on a zip line for an unforgettable experience.
Jour 8: Montréal – Departure
Free time depending on the return flight time. End of the tour and return of the rental vehicle at the airport.
